Writer of the month

Patrick Rothfuss
Yeah, I know I skipped April's author, but lots of things have been going on lately so... (stop making excuses, we all know you were only too lazy to write it). Anyway, the writer of this month is... Patrick Rothfuss. He is an American writer of epic fantasy from Madison, Wisconsin. Although he has written other books, his main novels are The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear, from The Kingkiller Chronicle. In fact, the year of The Wise Man's Fear release, it made the #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list. And it is because of this series that I'm going to write about him. In my opinion, it will son be one of the classics of fantasy literature ever, because of his writing style and the complexity and execution of the story. Besides those two books I just told you about, there are some other ones, way shorter, that tell little stories about the supporting characters. Of those, I have only read The Slow Regard of Silent Things, that describes seven days of Auri's life, and I must admit that I love it. It is very poethic and it's full of a misterious and strange magic. In conclusion, it is worth to read its novels and, if you want to know a little more about him, you can check the page www.patrickrothfuss.com/, where you can also read his hilarious blog and hear all the news, even though I'll be also posting them here.
