Hi! The purpose of this blog is to talk about books, films or TV series. Today I'm going to make a review of Sherlock. It's a series set in the 21st century where a modern version of the detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend John Watson solve the crimes Scotland Yard can't.

Since I had already read some of the novels about Sherlock Holmes before starting to watch the series, it was a little weird at first the difference between the old Sherlock and the new one. While watching the show you get to know Sherlock a lot better than in the books. In the novels, it was just an extremely intelligent and sometimes puzzling middle-aged man but in the series it is a still intelligent man, but you laugh a lot with him although sometimes you want to yell at him. You can also see how important John is for him and his trying to protect him with hilarious results sometimes. You also discover great characters like Lestrade, who appeared in the books but in the show it is a lot more important, and, of course, John Watson. Personnally,  I have become very fond of him. He is such a good, reliable man that sometimes you hate Sherlock for beeing rude to him. In my opinion, not only is he one of the best characters for his personality but for the incredible interpretation of Martin Freeman (John Watson).

In conclusion, even if you are fan of the books just the way they are, you'll love this series. With it you'll laugh, cry and be eager for more.
